Montreal Area / Service Coordinator: Industrial Valve and Instrumentation Supplier.
A Montreal area industrial valve and instrumentation supplier serving manufacturing industries in the Province of Quebec and Eastern Ontario is seeking Coordinator for its Service Department. We are a leading supplier in the Quebec industrial market with significant activities for servicing the aftermarket for the repair and replacement of control valves, safety relief valves and field instruments.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of quotations for service work.
2. Entering customer orders and preparing instructions for field work
3. Ordering parts from suppliers and expediting deliveries.
4. Scheduling work orders with the shop technicians
5. Communicating with customers on order status.
6. General administrative duties including purchases of shop supplies and coordination of instrumentation calibration
Skills and Knowledge
• Experience with order entry and purchasing with ERP systems.
• Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
• Able to work independently with a limited supervision.
• Experience working in a customer service activity
• Ability to speak and write in both English and in French.
Education/Experience
• Secondary school graduation preferably combined with a finance/administration degree from a post-secondary college (CEGEP) or a technical degree in mechanical/instrumentation.
