Manitoba Approval for Contro Valve Thunder Bay

Contro Valve Inc has achieved approval from the Manitoba Labor and Immigration Mechanical and Engineering Branch for the Overhaul and Test of Safety Valves at its Thunder Bay Ontario facility. This Approval extends to testing on Steam, Liquid and Air, and covers Section I, Section IV as well as Section VIII Safety Valves.

Regional Manager Geoff Kearney stated, “For some time now we have been aware of the need in Manitoba for a high quality, fully authorized repair shop within easy reach of major Safety valve users. It made sense to support this from our established TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Ontario) and GTC (Green Tag Centre) facility in Thunder Bay, using our fleet of Mobile Service Units to support these customers onsite as required. Personally I am very pleased with the work put in by the team in Thunder Bay to achieve the standards set by Manitoba”
